Beshear Takes On Bullying

Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear says the state should define bullying and pay for mental health counselors in public schools to help address it.

A group of students from Madison Middle School returned to Frankfort Wednesday in their second attempt to pass House Bill 40.

FRANKFORT, Ky. - Kentucky lawmakers are at odds about the effectiveness of anti-bullying legislation that took effect in 2008. A proposal meant to strengthen the law failed in a state legislative committee Tuesday.
