WUKY's DeBraun Thomas Featured On Here & Now's DJ Sessions

From Here & Now:

For this edition of the Here & Now DJ Sessions, we sit down with DeBraun Thomas, host of the Crunkadelic Funk Show on WUKY public radio in Lexington, Kentucky.

“I play anything that is deemed funky and soulful. Anything that brings out emotion,” he told host Jeremy Hobson. That includes older music, from artists like Betty Davis and Eddie Hazel, to newer sounds. He says that the funk and soul of the ’60s and ’70s has inspired a lot of music coming out in recent years.
