Lexington, KY – Speaking Tuesday to members of the Bluegrass Trust for Historic Preservation, the construction executive says, if elected, he would create a Commissioner-level position for Preservation, Planning, and Economic Innovation.
Mayor Newberry spoke to the same group last month. In a lengthy question and answer period the vice mayor was asked about everything from the need for more public green space, to the controversial design of a downtown CVS drugstore, and a church's planned use for the vacant Lexington Mall.
