Money is pouring in to fund a scholarship in the name of Jonathan Krueger, the University of Kentucky student who was murdered last week.
Family and friends say they want to be sure 22-year old Krueger’s memory lives on. The UK junior was shot and killed during a random robbery just of campus Friday morning. Two vigils have already been held and another is planned for tonight. Krueger worked as a photographer and editor for the Kentucky Kernel which is the student run newspaper at UK and the scholarship will be given to a student who plans to study photography or photo journalism. Tonight’s vigil will be held at Memorial Hall at 8:00.
