Two teenagers got caught breaking into Lafayette High School. Police say the pair was spotted on the school security footage walking through the halls around 2:00 this morning.
The company that runs the alarm system called police and while they were on the way, the alarm was set off on a hatch door to the school’s roof. Officers set up a perimeter and even used search dogs for over an hour to find the teens hiding on the roof. Nothing was stolen or damaged, but the 17-year old boy and girl said they scaled the building to get inside. They were cited for trespassing and released to their parents.
