Services Scheduled For Couple Killed In Belgium

Services for a couple with Kentucky and Tennessee ties killed in last month’s terrorist attacks in Brussels have been set.

Family and friends continue the healing process after learning that Stephanie and Justin Shults who were missing for days following bombings in Belgium on March 22nd were killed in the attack.  The pair had just dropped Stephanie’s mother off for a flight home to Lexington when the explosions rocked the Brussels Airport.  Stephanie was a graduate of Bryan Station High School and Transylvania University.  She met Justin when the two were in grad school at Vanderbilt.  Their careers took them overseas and they had been living in Brussels since 2014.

Two days of visitation have been set: today from 3-8 and tomorrow from 10-2.  The funeral will follow Friday’s visitation and all events are at Southland Christian Church on Harrodsburg Road.  The couple will be buried at Bluegrass Memorial Gardens following the funeral.  Services are open to the public.
