QB Drew Barker Leaving UK

UK Quarterback Drew Barker has decided to leave the University of Kentucky and play his fifth and final season of eligibility elsewhere.

Barker sent a tweet out late in the afternoon on Tuesday that called his degree from the University of Kentucky was one of his greatest accomplishments. He said he would be getting his Master’s degree and playing his final season at another university. The tweet went on to thank coaches, staff and teammates and that “Football has taken me places that I have never dreamed of and I’m excited to see where it takes me next.”

Kentucky’s roster for 2018 now includes four quarterbacks. Junior-college transfer Terry Wilson, sophomore-to-be Gunnar Hoakand redshirt freshmen Danny Clark and Walker Wood.
