A stand-off between Lexington Police and a man they believe was armed with a weapon ended with no injuries and the suspect behind bars.
It started around 10:00 Sunday night when 9-11 dispatch got a call saying there was a disturbance at an apartment on Kees road and a man inside had machete. When police got the scene, 54-year old Douglas Stitham was barricaded inside.
The situation ended about an hour later and Lexington Police were able to make an arrest. Stitham faces charges for two outstanding domestic violence warrants and other charges related to this incident.
