Trendy and upscale Coba Cocina closed their doors permanently on Tuesday.
The restaurant offered Latin and Mexican cuisine and was well known for its 3,000 gallon jellyfish aquarium. A statement released by the Greer Companies which operates the chain reads:
"This is an incredibly difficult decision to make. Our team will continue to explore different possibilities for Coba. We would like to sincerely thank our loyal guests and we will greatly miss serving each of you; the people who made every day so special. We are also grateful to have had such an amazing and talented staff. Every greeting, every meal prepared, every guest served and every smile were infused with passion from our team that worked hard every day to make Coba great. We will miss each and every person and hope to work with each one again soon. To our staff, “thank you,”" reads the release.
