Jamal Murray had been a projected lottery pick from the get-go and the Denver Nuggets made the former UK guard and the number seven pick overall in Thursday night’s NBA Draft.
Coach Cal predicts that Murray will lead all rookies in scoring in the upcoming season.
Skal Labissiere was picked by the Pheonix Suns at number 28 in the first round.
Tyler Ulis was selected 34th in the second round, also by Pheonix which puts five UK guards on their roster.
