Lexington, KY – The departure of Lexington Herald Leader reporter Dori Hjalmarson signifies a significant, and some are saying a sad development in regional, print news coverage. Hjalmarson was the last Eastern Kentucky bureau reporter in the state. WUKY's Alan Lytle discusses the development with Al Cross, the director of the Institute for Rural Journalism and Community Issues at the University of Kentucky.
