Frankfort, KY – Kentucky Death Row inmate Marco Allen Chapman says he deserves to die for murdering two children and brutally attacking their mother and sister in August 2002 in Northern Kentucky. He bargained for the Death Penalty and received it.

Chapman's attorneys say the trial judge should not have gone along with Chapman's request for a death sentence, but Chapman's latest appeal to the Kentucky Supreme Court has been rejected. The high court issued a mandate which fixes the day of execution as the fifth Friday following the date of the mandate, which would be November 21st.

Chapman's attorneys are still pondering their next step, but the governor's office has told the Corrections Department to move forward with preparations for the execution.
