Lexington, KY – A non-partisan group seeking to make tuition more affordable is holding a rally today in Frankfort at Kentucky State University.
Merwynn Scott, a spokesman for the Got Tuition group, says a growing number of qualified high school graduates aren't going on to college because they simply can't afford it.
In addition to hearing guest speakers, Scott says attendees can pick up information on where Barack Obama and John McCain stand on educational issues.
The rally at KSU is one of 16 stops for the Got Tuition movement, which is part of Black Entertainment Television's 2008 College Tour.
