Meat Goat Farmers Touting Benefits Of Kudzu Forage

Lexington, KY – Amateur and professional landscapers alike see to have a special aversion to a pesky weed called kudzu. It was introduced in this country back in 1876 at the Centennial Exposition in Philadelphia. Since that time, kudzu vines have cropped up all over the Southeastern U-S. Now, as Dr. Bob DeMattina with the University of Kentucky's College of Agriculture reports, area meat goat producers are discovering a hidden benefit to kudzu.
