Deal Reached Before The Start Of Nunn Civil Trial

LEXINGTON, Ky. -- The mother of the woman former Kentucky lawmaker Steve Nunn was convicted of killing has settled a lawsuit against the gated community in Lexington where the fatal shooting happened in 2009.

One of the attorneys representing Amanda Ross, Perry Bentley, told the Lexington Herald-Leader that Diana Ross, mother of Amanda Ross, and the Opera House Square Townhouse Association reached an out-of-court settlement for undisclosed terms. A trial scheduled to start Monday in Lexington is now canceled.

Nunn's Ex-Wife To Give Rare TV Interview

FRANKFORT, Ky. -- The ex-wife of a former Kentucky lawmaker serving life in prison for murder has agreed to a public television interview this weekend.

Tracey Damron is scheduled to appear on the KET show One to One with Bill Goodman.

Damron was married to Steve Nunn, a long-time lawmaker and son of a former Kentucky governor, from 1996 to 2006. Nunn was charged with murder in the 2009 shooting death of his former fiancee, Amanda Ross. He pleaded guilty in 2011.
