Road to 2012 Olympics Includes Stop at Rolex Kentucky for Equestrians

LEXINGTON, Ky. - $250,000 in prize money, a Rolex watch, and pride aren't the only things at stake during the Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event underway at the Kentucky Horse Park this weekend.  Equestrians will also be trying to earn a spot on their country’s Olympic team.

Prep work for the Rolex Kentucky Three Day Event officially got under way Wednesday at the Kentucky Horse Park with the Competitor's Briefing, after which the riders were allowed their first look at Derek Di Grazia's Cross Country Course that they'll be tackling on Saturday.

Number Two UK Captures Series Win Over Top Ranked LSU

LEXINGTON, Ky.  --  Freshman Austin Cousino collected a team-best three hits and Zac Zellers launched his fifth homer of the year to lead Number two Kentucky to a series-clinching 7-6 win in the rubber match  with Top-Ranked LSU, in front of 3,086 fans on an overcast Sunday afternoon at Cliff Hagan Stadium.
