Lexington resident are remembering the 9/11 terrorist attacks with a variety of events across town Thursday.

LEXINGTON, Ky. - Victims of the September 11th attacks are being remembered in downtown Lexington and on the University of Kentucky campus Wednesday.

LEXINGTON, Ky. - A weekend event is planned in Lexington to honor the firefighters who rushed up the stairwells of the World Trade Center towers on 9/11.

The Fraternal Order of Firefighters is hosting a memorial stair climb Saturday at Lexington's tallest skyscraper, the Fifth-Third Bank building.
