The appearance saw the Republican nominee elaborating on his plans for healthcare and pensions while also adding another chapter to what has been, at times, a rocky relationship with the press.


Thursday’s Kentucky Farm Bureau forum with the Republican and Democratic nominees for governor saw some of the most heated exchanges between the two candidates yet, but it could be a mere preview of what’s to come when the pair appear at the Fancy Farm picnic next week.

Bevin: State Should Halt Marriage Licensing

Kentucky's Republican nominee for governor says the state should stop issuing marriage licenses following the U.S. Supreme Court's ruling legalizing same-sex marriage in all 50 states.


Republican nominee for governor Matt Bevin did not disclose his positions with two companies on his financial disclosure statement, a possible violation of state ethics laws.


While gubernatorial debate season might not have officially begun in Kentucky, the Republican and Democratic nominees have already made a joint appearance.
