A.G.'s Office Says Cumberland City Violated Open Meetings Law

Frankfort, KY – Cumberland City Councilman Carl Hatfield alleges Mayor Loretta Cornett and four council members met in January without notifying him, the media or the public. Lexington, KY – It's another busy day at Rupp Arena with 4 more games in the KHSAA Boys Sweet 16 basketball tournament. Lexington Catholic takes on Bowling Green in a noon tip, after that Holmes tangles with Christian County .the evening session sees Mason County battling Shelby Valley, and it's Anderson County versus Elliott County in the nightcap. Yesterday's winners were Jessamine County, Grayson County, Central, and Eastern.

Hoops Hysteria Taking Over Bluegrass

Lexington, KY – After a 25 year absence from the NCAA Tournament, the Morehead State Eagles have won the honor of a rematch with the number one seed Louisville Cardinals, after defeating Alabama State in the Play-In game in Dayton, Ohio.

Back in Lexington, the Kentucky Wildcats took advantage of a decided home-court advantage in cozy Memorial Coliseum for an opening round victory over UNLV in the National Invitation Tournament.

UK Draws UNLV in Opening Round Game of N,I.T.
