Frankfort, KY – Governor Beshear says the federal government had already doubled Kentucky's funding for the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program, from 34-million to 68-million dollars. But now, that's been bumped up another nine-percent, to 75-million. "This extra money will enable us to help even more people and will enable us to give even more assistance to eligible families. In essence to keep them warm during the long, cold, dark winter ahead."
