Lexmark Announces 700 Planned Layoffs For Next Year

Lexmark says it's planning to lay off 700 of its 10,000 worldwide employees over the next year as part of a restructuring of the printer company.

143 Employees At Lexmark Getting Pink Slipped

143 Lexmark employees have received word that they will be laid off.  The Office for Employment and Training, a partner in the Kentucky Career Center, has received a WARN Act Notice for the layoff at Lexmark International Inc. 143 positions are being affected and the layoffs are expected to be permanent.  Lexmark is not, however, closing their Lexington, Ky. facility.
