Investigative Panel Being Appointed In Arnold Case

FRANKFORT, Ky. -- A special committee will investigate sexual harassment complaints against a western Kentucky lawmaker, House Speaker Greg Stumbo said Thursday.

Stumbo filed a petition with the House clerk on Thursday, a procedural move that allows the formation of the eight-member investigative committee that could recommend censure or expulsion of Democratic state Rep. John Arnold of Sturgis.

FRANKFORT, Ky. - The executive director of the Legislative Research Commission is under pressure from LRC employee Yolanda Costner to resign. Costner is one of three women who filed a sexual harassment complaint against Western Kentucky lawmaker John Arnold and charged the LRC with failing to take their complaint seriously.

LRC Ordered To Pay Legal Fees Of Plaintiffs

FRANKFORT, Ky.  -- A judge has ruled that the Legislative Research Commission is responsible for legal fees incurred by lawmakers who successfully challenged how legislative districts were redrawn during this year's General Assembly.
