Two women have been given the highest honor awarded by Transylvania University.
A Facebook post from the university says the President's Award to Marcia Figg and Erika Lyvers for their bravery during a knife attack at Jazzman’s Café where they worked. The assailant attacked people in the shop last month after asking them which political party they belonged to. Figg and Lyvers helped contain the attack.
