FRANKFORT, Ky. – Republican David Williams has begun running another political ad on network television, the second of the primary election season.

This one, which began airing Wednesday morning, promotes Williams as a job creator if elected governor. In it, he also promises to stand up against the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to protect Kentucky's coal industry.

As with a previous ad, the new spot also features Williams' running mate, former University of Kentucky basketball star Richie Farmer.

Williams faces Louisville businessman Phil Moffett and Jefferson County Clerk Bobbie Holsclaw in the May 17 primary. With two weeks remaining until Election Day, neither Moffett nor Holsclaw has raised enough campaign cash to pay for television advertising.

A political group has been running radio ads in the Bowling Green area on behalf of Moffett.
