Welcome!

Lexington’s new Visitor’s Center at the Old Historic Courthouse is officially open.

Thursday morning the ribbon was cut but the staff at Lexington’s new Visitor’s Center has already been welcoming guests. President of VisitLex, Mary Quinn Ramer says in their first week and a half, they have been inundated with visitors from out of town as well as people who live right here in Lexington who wanted to see the new digs.

You can still pick up pamphlets and maps like visitor’s centers of old, but the main floor of Lexington’s Old Courthouse has been completely modernized with things like touch screen interactive stations and a bourbon smelling wall.

Tourism in the Bluegrass creates $3.2 billion in economic impact for Lexington and the region.
