Wall Says He's Definitely Turning Pro

By Alan Lytle

Lexington, KY – Kentucky Freshman point guard John Wall has played his last game with the Wildcats. The SEC Player of the year says he's turning pro. At a press conference Thursday, Wall said he would have liked for his last hurrah to be in a winning cause, instead of his team's miserable shooting performance against West Virginia in the NCAA Tournament.

Wall led the Wildcats in scoring, assists, and steals. He's the first UK player to win the Adolph Rupp Trophy as the national player of the year and was also named a first-team All-American by The Associated Press.

Analysts say Wall could be either the number one or number two pick in the NBA draft.
