Lexington, KY – University of Kentucky Police Chief Joe Monroe says an investigation is under way regarding the death of a UK employee whose body was found in the stairwell of the Rose Street Parking Garage early Thursday morning.
"It appears that he fell from one of the top levels of the parking structure and when he fell it appears that he suffered a significant amount of head trauma. There doesn't seem to be any situation of foul play, but it is an ongoing investigation."
Police have identified the deceased as 36 year old Jonathan Mcintyre who worked for the Kentucky Geological Survey next door to Parking Structure number two. An autopsy is pending.
