Two Off-Duty FBI Agents Killed In Boating Accident

The FBI in Cincinnati says two off-duty employees were killed in a boat collision on the Ohio River near Cincinnati.

Cincinnati District Fire Chief Lou Arnold says the accident happened late Thursday when their pleasure boat apparently crossed right in front of a 600-foot barge in the river between Cincinnati and Newport, Kentucky.

The two men were found dead on the boat when the fire crews arrived.  FBI spokesman Todd Lindgren says they were Cincinnati division employees, but not special agents.  Their names and other information weren't released immediately.  Arnold says that the barge captain was at the wheel and saw the collision.
