The Kentucky Wildcats have picked up a highly prized recruit for the 2015 basketball season.
On Wednesday morning Chicago area 5 star guard Charles Matthews announced his intention to play for the Big Blue.
Matthews chose Kentucky over the likes of Illinois, Michigan State, Marquette and Kansas.
He’s a 6’4 shooting guard who averages 15 points and seven rebounds per game for Saint Rita High School, and according to Rivals.com is the overall 11th best prospect in the Class of 2015.
