Lexington, KY – University of Kentucky President Lee Todd has used his annual State of the University Address to tout academic accomplishments by the school despite the recent economic downturn. Todd cited improved minority enrollment numbers, increased graduation retention rates, and the addition of 13 new Commonwealth Collaboratives , as evidence of UK's continued importance around the state.
Todd says, despite the reduced state support, the university must continue toward its goal of becoming a top twenty institution by the year 2020.
