Tavis Smiley To Speak At Annual Poverty Forum

LEXINGTON, Ky.  - PBS and Public Radio personality Tavis Smiley will be in Lexington this coming Friday to deliver the keynote speech at the Community Action Council's annual Poverty Forum.  He recently spoke with WUKY's Alan Lytle about the growing number of Americans slipping into poverty each year.   The Poverty Forum is Friday September 28th from 5:30 to 9 p.m. at the Lexington Convention Center.
