Students Arrive On UK's Campus

LEXINGTON, Ky.-- Amid shopping carts, bags, boxes and suitcases… rows of teens and their parents shuttled items from vehicles to residence halls in an endless stream.  Morgan Reubusch, a residence advisor checked them into Keeneland Hall one by one.  She lived in the same dorm last year and tells incoming freshman her best advice is to get involved. 

Reubusch welcomed students with a smile, welcome packets and tissues if needed.    Freshman Nathan Calloway says tears won’t be an issue…he’s ready to move away from home and start college life.  To hear his move-in day experience along with his mother Dilcie Calloway…click below.

Avenue of Champions is blocked as students arrive on campus.

Several roads on campus will be blocked again tomorrow as move in continues on Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.  Unless you are moving in…steer clear of Avenue of Champions, Lexington Avenue, Martin Luther King Boulevard, Huguelet and University Drive.
