Robbery Suspects Pull Knife On Kohls Employees

Lexington police need your help identifying a couple who stole merchandise from a Lexington Kohl’s store and then pulled a knife on a security officer who tried to stop them.

Investigators with the Lexington Police Department tell us that this past Saturday a man and woman went into the Kohl’s Department Store in Hamburg and started putting merchandise into a purse. When the loss prevention officer and store employees tried to stop the couple in the parking lot, the woman began yelling at them and the man she was with pulled out a knife, lunged at the employees and threatened to cut them. A bystander caught the exchange on their cell phone and continued video recording the couple driving away in a red passenger car.

Investigators have released a photo of the woman taken from a store security camera and the witnesses’ phone video. You can view that video here http://bit.ly/2gikMXW

If you recognize either of these individuals, the Lexington Police are asking that you contact them at (859) 258-3600.
