Private Jet Lands In Lex With Millions In Drugs On Board

kentucky.com

Three men are in jail for trying to transport drugs from California to Lexington on a private jet. Homeland Security was tipped off by authorities in California where the plane departed.

Surveillance agents saw suitcases being loaded before take-off and they alerted Kentucky State Police so they waited at the TAC air terminal for it to land; when it did Isaac Rosas, Cedric Fajardo and Robert Carlson took a suitcase from onboard and put it into a BMW. They ran a stop sign and were immediately pulled over by KSP troopers. A drug sniffing dog picked up on the drugs and the plane was searched. Police found 80 bricks of cocaine and 40 pounds of meth.

The three men have been charged with conspiring to distribute controlled substances.
