A community-wide prayer service is being held tonight for Laura Babbage, wife of former Kentucky State Auditor and Secretary of State Bob Babbage.
Laura Babbage suffered a serious head injury during a cycling accident last week in France. Doctors have placed her in an induced coma and she remains stable in the ICU of a hospital in Grenoble, France.
Bob Babbage and the couple’s three grown children are at her side and the most recent facebook post reads “The medical team at the trauma ICU has begun the process of slowing down the induced coma, attempting to get Laura on her own. We met with another doctor who advised us that little signs of progress which we noted would be coming throughout the week, but that progress will be slow in this early stage of recovery. We hope to have more information to share in the next couple of days.”
Tonight’s service will be held at 7:00 at Chirst the King Church.
