The polls are now open in Kentucky and will remain open until 6:00 tonight. Voters in line by 6:00 will be able to cast ballots.
You will need a valid ID with you, unless an election officer knows you personally and can identify you. Here's a list of what election officials can accept for identification:
- A drivers license;
- A Social Security Card;
- Any identification card that has been issued by the County and which has been approved in writing by the State Board of Elections;
- Any identification card with a picture and signature;
- Any United States government-issued identification card;
- Any Kentucky state government-issued identification card with picture; or
- A credit card.
