Today marks the start of Lexington’s Fourth of July Festival, three days packed full of activities to celebrate our nation’s independence.
The festivities kick off today at noon with the Great American Pie and Ice Cream Social in Fifth Third Bank Pavilion. Then tonight at 5:30 it’ll be Thursday night Live.
Tomorrow night features the Lexington Philharmonic’s Patriotic Music Concert on the Morrison Lawn at Transylvania University.
Saturday’s celebration gets under way with the Bluegrass 10,000 race, along with a street festival all day, the parade at 2, and fireworks at 10.
