LEXINGTON, Ky. – The two Kentucky men vying for a seat in the U.S. Senate had a relatively cordial discussion of some key issues during their last debate of this campaign. The early part of the discussion on K-E-T Monday night focused on economic issues and job creation.

Democrat Jack Conway says some additional regulation is needed in areas like health care and banking.

"This is about prudent regulation and about prudent oversight of wall street and the financial market."

Conway says the health care law needs fixing, but not repealing. Paul argues heath care reforms will lead to more un-employment and banking regulations are "very dangerous for our economy." He maintains stimulus money was not the answer.

"Where does the trillion dollars come from? It's being borrowed. We don't have it, it's not like we had a big bunch of savings in Washington we're gonna send it out and spend it that would be a little bit different."

Before the debate, supporters of Paul wrestled a woman to the ground and one stepped on her head after she tried to confront the candidate. Lauren Valle of liberal group MoveOn.org, says was trying to give Paul a fake award when his supporters took her to the ground.

Television footage shows Valle's blonde wig being pulled off before she's pinned to ground. A man then puts his foot down on her head. Valle said the incident left her with "a bit of a headache."
