Patterson School Director On Clinton As Secy of State

Lexington, KY – Some critics are charging the decision is just a politically expedient move on Obama's part to gain approval from Clinton supporters, but Carey Cavanaugh doesn't agree. Cavanaugh worked at the State Department for more than two decades before coming to UK and he knows from experience that Senator Clinton is well-suited for the job.

Cavanaugh says he has made numerous foreign trips with the former First Lady and says she'll be ready on day one to deal with the major foreign policy issues facing the United States.
