Lexington, KY – American Water's Field Resource Coordination Center, or F-R-C-C, will relocate to the utility's Richmond Road office and bring with it thirty new job openings to be filled locally. Lexington Mayor Jim Newberry says that's good news for the local job market and good news for the entire community.

According to Nick Rowe, senior vice-president for American Water's Eastern Division, over 400 applicants have already applied for the 30 openings since the jobs were posted last week, and he expects over a thousand by the end of this week. Rowe says relocating the F-R-C-C to Lexington will come at NO ADDITIONAL COST to its customers. He says he expects the new center to begin operations this fall.
