Morehead Adopts Fairness Ordinance
The college town of Morehead has become the 6th community in Kentucky to pass a fairness ordinance.
With little debate or discussion the city council unanimously passed the measure Monday night.
The ordinance bans discrimination based on sexual orientation in employment, housing, and public accommodations.
Lexington, Louisville, Covington, Frankfort, and the Perry County community of Vicco have passed similar measures.
