Nearly four years after a U.S. Marine from Kentucky was shot, the trial for the two men accused of his murder begins. Lexington Police say Quincinio Canada and Dawan Mulazim pulled on gun on Jonathan and Megan Price during an attempted robbery outside of Austin City Saloon.The suspects allegedly shot the couple during a struggle. Jonathan Price was killed, his wife Megan survived.
Canada and Mulazim then reportedly went on a crime spree of robbery, car chases and another shooting. A year after the 2014 shooting of the Price’s, the suspects were charged with murder, robbery and assault. Their trial starts this morning at 9:00. Prosecutors are expected to ask for the death penalty if there is a guilty verdict in this case.
