LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell is now linked to a social media network.
The Kentucky Republican says the network will let him communicate directly with constituents. The network consists of his U.S. Senate website, official Facebook page and a YouTube channel.
McConnell's official website has been redesigned to improve access to the latest news from the Senate.
The state's senior senator has also officially joined Facebook. His Facebook page is updated frequently with comments on legislation, constituent meetings and video from speeches and television interviews.
McConnell has also established a YouTube channel to provide on-demand access to his public statements.
