LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Lyric Theatre in Lexington has hired an executive director. Yetta Young was chosen after a nationwide search.
In a statement released Monday, Young says her long term goal is to make the Lyric a cultural hub for entertainment in theatre, dance, comedy, music, and film.
A graduate of Fisk University in Nashville, Young has worked as a performer and producer/director of stage productions. She is moving to Lexington from Los Angeles.
