Xerox is poised to become the second largest private employer in Lexington.
Spokesperson Chris Gilligan says the company is getting ready to hire 12-hundred new employees for operational needs by the end of the year. “We have about 800 project based jobs for open enrollment. That means temporary jobs. Mostly folks will be answering inbound calls from customers from the health insurance industry. It’s open enrollment season so it’s the time of year when everyone gets those packets in the mail from their employers and has a bunch of questions. We provide the back office call center operations for those clients so they can service their customers and get their customers’ needs answered.”
