Lextran To Hold Final Meeting on Route Changes Wednesday

Lextran’s board of directors will hold a final public meeting Wednesday on proposed route adjustments.  Major changes include the addition of a bi-directional Sunday service on routes 1-13, a revised route 16 that would pass by the new HealthFirst facility, and the suspension of Colt Trolley Blue and Green Routes during the winter months.  Lextran General Manager Carrie Butler says while the changes won’t please everyone, they have been adjusted based upon public comment dating back to September.

“We have incorporated as much of the public feedback we can into our revisions that we will present at our board meeting tomorrow,” she said.

The meeting will take place Wednesday at 5:00 PM in the Lextran Training Center, which is located at 105 Spruce Street.  The changes will be implemented approximately two months from when the board casts its final vote.
