Lexington Public Library Meeting With Community To Craft New Strategic Plan

Lexington Public Library

The Lexington Public Library is holding a series of community meetings this month to determine what programs and services people will want and need over the next five years.  Spokesman Doug Tattershall says the library needs the feedback to craft a new strategic plan.

"We had a pretty exhaustive process five years ago, so we're going back to the community and asking for their ideas and input on how to make the library a better place," Tattershall told WUKY.

The meetings will be moderated by LPL Executive Director Ann Hammond.  The next one takes place Tuesday evening at 7 at the Eagle Creek Branch.  No advance registration is required.
