LEXINGTON, Ky. -- – A Lexington police officer has died after he was struck by an SUV.
27-year-old Bryan Durman was responding to a noise complaint when he was hit shortly after 10 PM. It happened at the intersection of Alabama and North Limestone.
Police say the driver of a maroon Chevrolet Tahoe fled the scene to an apartment building. A standoff ensued, but police ultimately arrested 33-year-old Glenn Doneghy early this morning.
He faces several charges, including first degree murder.
