Lexington Police Investigate Overnight Shootings

Three overnight shootings in Lexington have left at least three people dead. Police believe the incidents are unrelated.

Police were called to an apartment complex on Squires Woods Way around 10:00 last night. They found a man on the porch who had been shot, he later died. That incident led to a police stand-off with the alleged shooter that ended around 12:30. Officers were called to a home on Garden Springs at 10:15, two juveniles were shot. One died, the other was rushed to the hospital. That incident is believed to be drug related. The third shooting happened some time before four this morning at an apartment building on east sixth-street. That victim also died.
