LEXINGTON, Ky. – Lexington Mayor Jim Gray may be spending a few days at the courthouse next month. He's been called for jury duty.

Gray, who is in his first month in office, attended jury orientation on Thursday for Fayette County District Court. He is one 150 people chosen for the February jury pool.

City spokeswoman Susan Straub says due to Gray's busy schedule, the court allowed him to choose five days when he will be available. He will be required to call the court the night before each of those days to see if he will be needed.

Straub says this is Gray's first time to be selected for jury duty.
